Established in 2003 by former owner, Blanchworth Care, Kington Court offers residential and nursing care to older ladies and gentlemen.
The business has sold to award-winning healthcare provider, Rotherwood Group, taking its portfolio to a total of seven care homes across Herefordshire, Shropshire, and Worcestershire, with over 350 beds providing a range of complex dementia and luxury residential and nursing care.

This is our seventh care home and part of our longer-term commitment to broadening our impact enriching the lives of the older generation. We have exciting plans to enhance the home and make a difference to people living and working at Kington Court and hope that everyone feels settled during the ownership transition.”
Rob Kinsman, Regional Director – Care at Christie & Co who handled the sale, comments, “We have been working with Blanchworth Care for over 20 years and are really pleased to be able to facilitate this transaction with the Rotherwood Group. We wish them all the very best at Kington Court and have no doubt they will make a real success of the care home.
“We are seeing strong demand from a wide range of buyer profiles, from new-entrants through to experienced providers seeking to expand their portfolios. There remains a focus on the long-term potential of the sector and the volume of transactional activity in the market reflects the ongoing confidence.”
